This is so obviously and significantly true. I think you have said that we need to also have empathy for those who have been fooled and confused by the trump rhetoric, and this is certainly true. This regime cannot succeed if people of goodwill remind others that love is real. That means to stay involved and resist with love.
Great idea!! Easy to accomplish and takes fewer resources. Will follow through on it!! Do you think I could charge a few bucks for it to fund raise? $5.00?
Mailing would be reasonable and easy.
Thanks for your kind words about the writing too!!
The poster and shirt are great, but may I suggest a large square bumper sticker or sticker that we could put on our auto window or computer with the image? That way it's out there all the time, it helps us identify each other & spread the awareness more broadly.
So appreciate your writings and your son's efforts, thank you.
Increasing community and listening with love and compassion is a silver lining during these horrific times. I will be proud to wear my just-ordered t-shirt and am sharing the link with others.
Kathleen, Once agaIn you have hit the nerve of what's going on. Everyone can use more love, especially those who hate the most. I can hardly imagine what they might feel like.
Fortunately, there is plenty of love to go around and we can magnify our love through generosity, gratitude. empathy and care for others. I think this is what Jesus meant by "loving our enemy"---having some empathy even for those who seek to harm us.
It's our murmuration!!! We fly together!! take turns being out front, taking up the rear, holding the middle!! Swoop, soar, rest!!
On a sign I saw at the Belfast Hands Off rally…”evil is the absence of empathy.”

Bravo! I’m so glad to be part of your murmuration! Wearing Bishop Budde’s call for MERCY with pride!
With apologies to purists, Judith’s comment immediately called this haiku (perhaps only technically) to mind:
Toxic Empathy?!!?/NO!! Become part of Kathleen’s/murmuration
“Part of your murmuration” has got become a song! Tracy Chapman? And are we verging on condemning Christ as a toxic empathist? Jesus wept, indeed.
Don't you just love that word!
I want to be part
of your murmration
a far better aspiration
than toxic consumption
Your tshirt was sent thi morning! So sorry for the mix up and delay!! Hope you enjoy it.
