Re the grey fog. Sometimes i feel that everything i write has to progress in some form of excellence; that i have to transcend a lyrical essay with an even more lyrical essay. I am plagued with this misunderstanding. It makes the good, war with itself. A tree doesn't seek to be a better tree. Being itself is perfect. So too all the rest of nature. The grey fog is a normal state of affairs for me nowadays and I hear my ancestors saying, "If you have nothing to say, then at least wish people well!". Good advice! 🙂
