Love your reflections. Health is so much about food and friends and nature. Regenerative health is about conscious regenerative life as you end your essay. We have created bigger, more wicked problems that are hard for humans to think about but muddle through we must. Collective intergenerational wisdom based on trust and authenticity can create active hope in my view.

You follow in the footsteps of the many, many people who are featured in Paul Hawkins' latest book, "Regeneration," which tells stories of people all over the world, including in the Amazon, who are regenerating the earth like you are in ways large and small. This book is my bedtime reading. It reveals all that is happening on the flip side of destruction and despair.

Simultaneously heartbreaking and hopeful, I appreciate your reflections on this just slightly warmer day! Thank you for sharing that poem. Connecting with the outdoors has always sustained me, and is what I believe is missing in so many lives. Not just city-slickers, but even those fortunate to live so close to nature as we are in Maine, spend their lives indoors, attached to screens. It's sad and I realize the irony of my statement while typing on my own screen!
